The history of Precision Vision, with locations in Oklahoma City, Midwest City, Edmond, and Shawnee began in 1981 when Dr. R. Randall Robinson opened his practice, after finishing his residency at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute. Dr. Darrell J. Pickard joined Dr. Robinson in 1993, and Selina R. McGee, OD joined the group in 2002. Natalie Butcher, OD joined in 2011 and Cris Thompson, DO joined in 2014. Together, our eye doctors have a combined 70-plus years of service to the greater Oklahoma City metro, Midwest City, Del City, eastern Oklahoma County, Edmond and Shawnee areas.
Selina R. McGee, OD, FAAO is a native Oklahoman who works at Precision Vision in Midwest City and Edmond as a specialist in primary care optometry. Dr. McGee performs comprehensive eye exams which include eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, as well as evaluating the eye for the presence of glaucoma, cataracts, age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, amblyopia and many other types of ocular pathology. She is a dry eye specialist, lecturing extensively on ocular surface disease. Dr. McGee earned her O.D. degree from Northeastern State University College of Optometry, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. McGee is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association. In 2012 Dr. McGee was named Oklahoma’s Young Optometrist of the Year.
Natalie C. Butcher, O.D. is an optometrist specializing in primary eye care in Midwest City and Oklahoma City. She joined Precision Vision in 2011. She is dedicated to providing every patient high quality vision care with the latest technology for prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses and diagnosing the presence of glaucoma, cataracts, age related macular degeneration, damage from high blood pressure and diabetes and many other vision threatening conditions. Dr. Butcher was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry.
Dr. Cris Thompson specializes in advanced cataract surgery and the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical diseases of the eye. Dr. Thompson earned his B.S. in Biology from Oklahoma City University. He received his doctorate from the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and completed his Ophthalmology Residency at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, one of the oldest and most renowned osteopathic training hospitals in the country. Dr. Thompson is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and maintains active memberships in the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Osteopathic Association.
